Even though for years I argued that Cotto's resume was a lil overrated. The fact is, more times than not. Whomever the boxing world said was "the guy" at or around his division, he fought. Let's not get all salty because in his twilight, he doesn't wanna be some ass clown's, who BTW is his age, gateway to stardom when there's several other more profitable fights out there for him. Just because that ass clown is your newest favorite fighter doesn't mean its time to **** on one of the realist muf.uckaz from the previous era, who's only a year older than that up-n-coming ass clown who happens to be your newest favorite fighter.
    Compare resumes...... cotto the truth

I love GGG but you cant bring no money to the table, and expect big-money earners to do business with you. Walmart doesnt do business with small-time suppliers.

Totally agree. I'm sure Cottos financial advisors and promoter feel the same way.

Makes no sense to take on the biggest threat for the smallest payday and smallest credit.

The major concern here is that Cotto struggles to perform against pressure fighters such as margs, Pacman and probably ggg also.
I'm sure Cotto holds a belt in ggg's division so why not? And golovkin isn't even that big.... What about an agreement on a catch weight? I think I speak on behalf of all boxing fans that this would be a great fight we all wanna see, we all wanna know if Cotto has the skills to stop this khazak freight train.

GGG wont be denied for long. when you have network backing like he does with hbo he will eventually get a big fight. other fighters have no choice but to fight him. HBO is grooming GGG to be the next pacquiao, the next ppv star. He has the right exciting style that everybody loves to see much like pacquiao in his prime.

They cant duck him forever. I hope he stays at 160 for a couple more years. I know Canelo is waiting for GGG to move up until he moves up. I think Canelo GGG is the next biggest fight in boxing right behind floyd v pacquiao.

Name fighters will eventually have to be forced to fight GGG.
