Why would I think that rodriguez is in the same league as geale for? Geale at least beat an old sturm to get a belt. Each division has a top ten...those guys in that top ten fought and won to get to that spot. Leap frogging 9 other challengers for a belt when you've never put a single round of work in that division is bullshh..sorry if you can't see that or don't understand the point of a ranking system. The only reason Cotto got that shot was because of the money involved which had nothing at all to do with actually deserving it. The least he can do is defend his belt against another one of the champions of the division after it. It is YOU who must not understand the rankings. Champions are allowed to choose withing the top 15 rank in their respective belt organizations to defend their belts against. Rodriguez WAS in the top 15 at the time cotto fought him. Since cotto beat him, he gets ranked within that top category. Its like vasyl lomachenko fighting one dude his first fight that was ranked and then getting a title shot at his very next fight. Cuz since the guy lomachenko beat was top 10, vasyl was able to get a title shot even though he only had one pro fight. Ive been watching boxing way too long bro. I have no problem with him winning and vacating..holding it hostage to the highest bidder is my issue here. If he doesn't vacate and fights against someone not in the top 5 of that division it's flat out bullshhhh

But who said he is not doing that? That's what I don't get.... he just fought Martinez what 2 months ago? I would love to see GGG fight better competition and if it takes a 4 man round-robin to do it.. im all for it.. his resume is suspect to me anyways...
