Well jeez, if one shot messed him up that badly, that means his punch resistance is no longer there... So don't fight anymore, FFS.

I mean if it's that bad, even Sturm could knock him out now. All Sturm did was give Barker a tap, and the poor guy (with bad legs as well?) went down like a sack of spuds. That'll be Martinez from now on, except next time he might not keep getting up.

        Cracks me up...

...all these knowledgeable boxing gods on this site that continue to miss the fact Sergio was SERIOUSLY hampered by bad knees. They are the ones that continue to worship at the alter of seriously over the hill fighter, Cotto who has nowhere to turn for a follow up win, or ****** thugs. Not a single one knows beans about the human body let alone boxing. I suggest you all can the comments or comment in the Enquirer or something. You are showing your ignorance.

Cotto the Clown. Not one single follow up fight he can win. A joke. An ex warrior. A joke. And the only people that thinks he is at the top of his game are the ones that think Danny "El falso y su padre el payaso" Garcia beat the MEXICAN Herrera. Garcia looked dazed and confused. Nowhere to run nowere to turn. He is dead at his first competitive WW fight. He i a joke.

Sergio's legs were buckling under him just trying to move last time out...why do it again for anything but the money?
them knees buckled AFTER getting smacked by Cotto. get your facts straight!

That's actually a good idea and an even fight at this point. I would watch it.

Ok, are you having trouble taking Sergio's own word for it?
How about DiBella's who says he wasn't even limping the next day?

That's ignorance if there is any here.

He got caught cold and early by a good shot and never recovered.

                  End of story.

You can only say it so much bro. They just don't want to listen.

sergio can bounce back you win some you lose some its boxing its not the end of the world he probably took cotto lightly and got his ass kicked lesson learned he can come back and make some noise now if he loses to a lesser opponent then he should consider retirement but he lost to 1 of the best fighters of this generation
