Kirkland? Hell no! He knows how to spoil the party. Tapia is much bigger than Cotto and Kirkland beat him like a drum.
Wtf...I live tapia, but did you just compare him to cotto? If i could, I'd get you kicked off the site permanently lol. In all seriousness, skills pays the bills, and cotto is a ton more skillful than tapia is. This would be a fairly easy fight for cotto I think.

I think Kirkland would be the biggest puncher Cotto has ever faced. Kirkland has skills as well, he places punches well and digs deep when needed. If the fight is made I would definately watch it with chill bumps unsure of whats going to happen once the bell rings.

That's a real dangerous fight for Cotto.... if his conditioning is not up to par... things can get dangerous for him there....
Chavez or Rubio are definitely not tune ups, could en like Cotto Margarito 1, even their rematch with clean wraps Cotto gave all he had Tony kept coming but New York stepped in right on time and saved the day. Cotto wants no granite chinned Mexicans in front of him
why do people keep using cotto-margarito 1 as an example. The only way margarito beat him was with the use of plasters. Cotto was doing good boxing until after the 6th round. Thats around the time the plasters started hardening.
