Being there's a potential mega fight next year vs canelo, He needs a winnable fight and one that'll do well with ppv sells. Most logic choice is Kirkland who has a crowd pleasing style. Both canelo and cotto should go after him for fights later this year

I dont have a problem with cotto facing rubio in dec, but not for ppv though. Then canelo in may. In the mean time ggg can fight quillin, murray, jacobs or soliman.

Chavez or Rubio are definitely not tune ups, could en like Cotto Margarito 1, even their rematch with clean wraps Cotto gave all he had Tony kept coming but New York stepped in right on time and saved the day. Cotto wants no granite chinned Mexicans in front of him
