I don't know why people think that Rios hits hard, his style and persona I guess. He has no power if he brings his work rate up he is a much better performer but he is close to being an opponent now. Rios beats Broner easily. Keep in mind that Rios is a Robert Garcia fighter who trained Maidana and laid out the blueprint for Maidana to beat Broner. To beat Broner is easy because he fights flat footed, has poor defense, and doesn't throw enough punches. Any pressure fighter who comes forward and throws a high volume of punches will beat him. Also Broner has NO pop at 147 and doesn't belong in that division but he will also lose to Mikey Garcia at 135 or 140. Its only a matter of time before this fraud loses again...Bear witness u are looking at the next broke boxer!!!

This. Rios has no power at welter at all. It's the fact that his power didn't come with his weight gain, and the fact that he's sloppy and can't land clean, thus his thudding blows aren't thudding. They don't land clean and compactful. He's no longer draining himself so he can have that 30+ pound weight advantage on fight night.
