The only thing Riosis better than Maidana maybe that he has stronger chin, but out of that they are on another level.
Yes Broner has problems with pressure fighters, brawlers, but it depends on thei level too, and Rios is so predictable and so simple that I can't imagine that he would walk down Broner and KO him.
Yep. Broner would pick off Rios all night. He would see Rios a mile away and attack and counter at will. This would be a shutout but for some reason people are discounting Broner against Rios just because he lost to Maidana who is leagues better than Rios and more powerful.

PPl on here don't speak of Broner based on skill, they speak out of disklike for him as a person. Maidana said Broner was strong and had him hurt in the 11th. U all praise Maidana for his fighting but ignore his words like he's just talking crap. If Broner doesn't get buzzed badly early, he would beat the pants off Rios who himself has no head movement and is flat footed. Broner has a solid chin as does Rios, both are flat footed and don't have a lot of head movement, both can punch but one is more athletic and a better overall technical boxer. You tell me who would win.

is that when maidana had his guard down after the bell had rung and broner punched him? i don't doubt broner has power but you guys talk like it was a factor throughout the whole fight, it wasn't.

rios has a tremendous chin, i don't see broner doing much damage to him. broner might get outworked inside because that's where the fight is going to be and inside fighting is one of the few things rios knows how to do.

I'm neither Black nor Mexican so race is not an issue in this.

I've always found this fight intriguing but couldn't really say who'd win because I did not know how well Broner took a punch or how he dealt with pressure from someone he didn't have a size advantage over. He took that test and failed miserably. Immediately after the Maidana fight, I'd say that Rios obliterates him easily. However, there are things to consider:

First off, Broner may have bitten off more than he can chew skipping an entire weight class. Second, as it turns out, Maidana isn't the brainless, face first brawler we thought he was. Rios, on the other hand, has proven time and time again that he is a face first brawler.

So is it possible that Broner would do better against Rios than he did with Maidana? I say yes. However, Broner is still slow footed, has shit defense and has an iffy chin. So I think he might make it look good early, but eventually folds. Rios by late TKO or UD.

I think Rios wins this fight easily

Maidana probably would've stopped Broner if he didn't headbutt him and give him a few minutes to recover. He also gassed alittle during the later rounds

Rios is like Maidana with way more stamina. Those feints to the body and come over the top punches and overhead punches can be taught to Rios since they have the same trainer.

A more competitive fight would be Rios vs Algeiri and since Rios doesn't hit as hard as Prov and I consider Algeiri to be better than Abril, Rios would lose that one as well but it would be more comptitive

Rios beats Broner until proven otherwise. Ever since running into that concrete wall called Maidana, Broner has been given a hall pass. Fighting laughable opponents. But on the real, in a fight concerning to stand in the pocket fighters, I'll give it to the fighter who does it understanding that's simply the way he is.

That would be a cakewalk for Broner, Rios will be right in front of him all night with no headmovement.

Rios struggled to make 147 for Manny despite moving up, needed those pills lol what a joke if you cant motivate yourself for Pacquiao AND you are moving up 7 lbs then what hope is there?

Chaves will also put a beating on Rios tommorrow.

Just like floyd, broner's weakness is pressure and some random awkward **** thrown all over them. But he ain't as mobile as floyd, he doesnt have those catlike reflexes and his defense is nowhere close to floyd's. Im not underestimating broners power, he can hurt rios but rios can hurt him too. And rios has a better chin than him. Im picking rios. Broner is not that hard to find.

If Broner lets his hands go he would beat the **** out of Rios, so easily too, however if he tries his Mayweather antics he gets beaten round like a little ragdoll being ****d by Rios.
