The Cold War is supposedly over but we are still not getting this fight. I assume Bob Arum wants to let it marinate.

Who do you think Cotto will face instead?

Canelo's team wants the fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend too, not just Arum. Both sides.

Hopefully it's not Super Mario aka Rubio.

Soliman at least has a belt or someone like Martin Murray would be better.

This is not due to the case of the cold war lol its due to each fighters own ulterior motive. Canelo wants the Cotto fight for Cinco De Mayo weekend so he can take it back from Mayweather and only fight that he can beat mayweather with at the moment is the Cotto fight, Cotto is not going to sit around for close to a year before Cinco De Mayo comes so he gonna get a fight in in December. Nothing to do with the so called "Cold War" of boxing.

Cotto will probably rematch Trout, that fight will still sell at MSG in NY.

Canelo will probably fight Kirkland the only good fight left he hasnt fought at 154, he beat everyone who is anybody at 154 (excluding p.will due to his circumstances)

Wow, that would be an interesting choice of opponent. I highly doubt they pick Trout though.

He already threw a wrench in the works of a Canelo-Cotto super fight once before.

Perhaps Rubio, which isn't that bad IMO if he faces Canelo next.
