When it comes to fighters and retirement, nothing is for certain. They are very attached to the sport, whether because of passion, it's part of who they are (Pacquiao) or because of money (floyd).

I bet you floyd has played this video about 20 times trying to make sure he understood correctly though. "Hey Yaya, come ova heer. He retiring right" "Yesh daddy uz a puss doe." "Like I said before... *procees to pull a Jossie Harris on Yaya*

Good!! Thanks for the exciting fights Manny, and your transcendance of the sport was fun to watch, you are an inspiration, but your illogical nuthugging fans won't be missed, and I would be happy if you retired tomorrow if it cleaned up NSB.

      WAR FLOYD!!!

It's funny that you say "because of who they are" and put Pac's name beside that. Mayweather was born into boxing and his father and Uncle were professional boxers and great trainers. Then you say "because of the money" and put Mayweather's name beside that. Pac is actually the one who has serious money problems and is in debt to the IRS in the U.S. and in his home country.

Best news I've heard all day! In all seriousness hate to see a great fighter retire.

The sport will miss you Manny when you are gone. Big Dunn, not so much!

Lets hope we get that one great fight!!

I don't necessarily believe this is gonna happen.

Although PAC and Floyd are clearly past prime, (but still at the top of 147...no one's touching them at this point but it's getting closer)

I think if they ever fight each other, it'll bring out something extra in the both of them. Extra motivation, that extra snap in the punch. So we'd see a very good fight.

Hope it happens... May 2015. If it's a great fight, then a possible rematch can be made.
