That's just because in your mind two things are certain: Porter could trouble Floyd, and Floyd will duck him because he thinks he is a threat. I say that's flawed logic based on emotion not fact. Good thing I'm right.

If Collazo was number 30 at welterweight, Daniel Geale must have been number 130 at middleweight. Khan's resume takes a steaming piss over Golovkin's.
How do people make a big deal of Collazo? He hasn't been relevant since the Hatton fight. You act like it's some big deal for Khan when it's about as = to his win vs. Molina.

Does the guy have a style that troubles almost every fighter? Yeah, especially his old, attack-only style, but he needs to step up and beat better opponents to get a shot at Floyd. Beating Collazo to get to Floyd? It's like Guerrero/Ortiz beating Berto to earn shots at Floyd (and we know they didn't deserve the shots). Beating Alexander would impress me, but I don't think that he could.

I guarantee you Floyd would UD Brook like he did Guerrero. It wouldn't be that way if he fought Porter.
Btw, Maidana isn't a threat either, but wear these gloves doe. Floyd would make Porter wear a blindfold if they were to get it on, considering he hits twice as hard as Maidana and is four times as crafty.

Collazo is a good first win at welterweight. Equating him to Molina is ******ed but you knew that when you typed it so that goes without saying. Hasn't been relevant since the Hatton fight? Except giving a decent account of himself against Mosley and beating Berto in most people's eyes? As well as KOing Ortiz in 2 rounds. Never said it was a big deal but Collazo was a solid, top 10 opponent.

Khan has a fight in December to get through first before Floyd.

That's reaching quite a bit, don't you think

This would have been a more relevant question after Julio Diaz. Not now, the Collazo performance was excellent, and very few people expected it. Khan made Collazo look like a bum, which he is far from.

Khan is and will always be a draw, and whether some of you American fans want to believe it or not, it's the truth, so I would learn to accept it if I was you. He was a crossover star from the moment he won an Olympic silver medal at 17 years old, and despite some setbacks that momentum has never been reversed, and he has actually been a very good pro, who has won world titles and fought at a very good level for a number of years, CHOOSING to fight in the US, when he could have honestly probably made the same money in the UK.

It's been a while since the USA had any kind of success in the Olympics, or Puerto Rico for that matter, maybe that is where the lack of understanding comes from.

Exactly. Don't expect objectivity from Khan huggers though.

Berto was considered a valued commodity to HBO at the time.
