RIF dude. Never said anything saying the eliminator was any better. You are confusing me with somebody who gives a ****e about anybody involved. No double standard. This is a bull****e title defense, that was a bull****e eliminator. Saucedo is absolute bull****e as a title defense, and bull****e as an opponent for a #1 ranking. He is a club fighter brought in to lose either fight. Pure and simple. He won't win a round against either fighter, and the corrupt ***s at the IBF know it.

Exactly... so why is he fighting a guy who's supposed to be in an eliminator for Barthelamy's title if he's just one of those guys?Comment

Take your whining up with the IBF. It might be a **** match up but if you go by rankings, it's a fair defense. The guy is #3 in their rankings.RIF dude. With that said, once again, this is a **** fight. But if it's in Florida I'll be there again.

Yo, how close are you?
Cool, I still gotta travel by bus to go to decent shows... and I can only go once every several months.
Enjoy it man... I'm sure it's better there than vAComment

I'm sorry but I still don't see what the problem is here. No agreement was reached yet between Farenas and Saucedo, so no contracts were signed. Therefore Barthelemy could have picked anyone in the IBF Top 15, including Farenas and Saucedo.
Example: Soliman could have made his voluntary title defense against N'dam or Stevens, even though the IBF ordered a final eliminator between these two. Now of course it's too late because a deal has been reached, but Soliman vs. N'dam/Stevens would have definitely been possible before contracts were signed.
Offering a title shot to a fighter who's supposed to be in a final eliminator (for the same title) is not against the rules.Comment

I'm not saying it's against the rules, it's just perplexing. Same with the Solimon situation if it happened... just.... Why?I'm sorry but I still don't see what the problem is here. Unless one of those guys was a huge money fight, then I could see why they'd do it.
I get that he has a voluntary, but I think it's dumb that he's fighting a guy that's already heading towards an eliminator for his belt... unless somehow he's getting a crap ton of money for it opposed to everyone elseComment

Nah man. You got it good. Im a 4 hour drive from Miami. You may be further from the events but they're BETTER over there. How often does Miami get a decent event? Or Florida for that matter. Most recently Barthelemy vs Mendez and there was 0 promotion for that event. Prior to that was Cotto vs Rodriguez? And that probably happens once in a blue moon. LolComment
