I'm disagree about Qullin. The seats would be filled for both cotto/quillin and cotto/ggg because of cotto, but you can charge more for the GGG fight-hence a larger gate.

Is this about boxing or accounting?.

I don't give a damn what makes the most money, I don't get any in any case.

With that said, I'd rather see Canelo vs GGG than Cotto vs GGG.

Props to Cotto if he really takes this fight though, he'd be once again the underdog.

As for Ward, he hasn't fought in how long?.
He should fight whoever is there , at 168, 175 or whatever.
I really like Ward but in my opinion he's wasting his best years.

how is that when rubio is the mandatory while algieri is 140lb champ and rod salka is the 77th ranked 135lb fighter?

Can you name those "excuses"? Quillin just said hell fight him. Same thing that ward said. No wait, ggg wants to fight soliman.

It would be big (not as big as Cotto-Alvarez, as others have mentioned). Geographically, it makes sense. Big Hispanic and Eastern European populations in the NYC area. I would love to see this match up.

Cotto vs anybody with a pulse at MSG is a big event.... so a big NY fight for cotto being offered by GGG means nothing.

Because the things in common about all 3 fights is that they are all not competitive.
