LOL!!!! Good, you understand the point I'm making.

Criticizing Floyd for making a request that functions solely to make him appear bigger than the sport by doing something "incredible" (when we know it isn't) is fine.

But to blame the WBC's greed and corrupt decision making that drove them to agree to this request on him is utterly ******ed.

The WBC allowed this most likely because it increases the fee they receive from the fight.

No one said or implied the WBC forced floyd to do it.

When floyd made the request the WBC surely could of said no. SInce they said yes, I would think a reasonable person would call them on that decision. Instead, you want to get mad at floyd for making the request.

Come on guys, don't become part of the group that ruins NSB.
The WBC have always been known to back down to any fighter that brings money for them. Their 'but for a presidential decision' clause in their rules lets them do what they like. Unless Floyd really has no braincells, he would have knew this. It becomes apparent even more when you realise Floyd fights for WBC belts nearly all the time - he plays them like a fiddle. You cant fully blame Floyd, but this is his idea and he knew he was going to get it.

That being said, some posters have mentioned the glove size. Whilst i have no idea what glove size will be used (i assume 8oz), i can safely say this title stunt had nothing to do with restricting Maidanas glove size or whatever. Floyd asked the WBC to do this before the first Maidana fight. I can see issue if he decides to enforce 10oz gloves though, theres no justification

Wow! Don't get mad at Floyd for requesting this idiotic, non credible multiple weight division defense request! You guys are idiots if you don't blame Floyd! Why didn't he make this a legitimate request against a top 154 pound fighter? Maidana hasn't been at welterweight to call him a legit welterweight! Floyd did this to avoid defending his 154 title against legit fighters in that division! And by ducking the all 154 pound fighters his making history? Only fools can buy this story! Floyd is the biggest cherry picking DUCK and that's history!

I don't disagree with your 1st paragraph. I just think the corrupt practices of the WBC are the bigger issue, since, as you said, the WBC doesn't just do this for floyd but for any big money fighter.

Criticism of Floyd for how he uses his power solely to give himself advantagesand to better himself and his partners interests is understandable.

Wrong. I do not understand the point(?) you are making. Not at all. I understand that you are a delusional Floydstan, but that's about it.

Likely because you can weigh 147 and fight for the 154 lb title but you can't weigh 154 and fight for the 147lb title.

Maybe if you thought before posting you would have realized that.

If you say so. Floyd is responsible for the decision made by the WBC because he made the request.

Your posting history shows you are not so ****** that you honestly believe that so I will assume you are trolling.

Floyd is responsible for making a silly request coming out of his silly mind. Sillyman complied because it gives him more sanctioning fee.

Not that I'm surprised of Floyd thinking up silly things. We've seen it many times before including calling himself TBE: The Bestest Eva!
