Tyson will tone it down now, I suppose. Hard to call anybody a wuz after a stunt like this. Fury should have said no before the photos. First he punches himself in the face, now he shoots himself in the foot.

Can't help but find it funny how people always quote mike Tyson like he was some grand boxing philosopher rather than one of the most mentally unstable men in the sport (Shannon Briggs is giving a late rally for that title)
I really like mike but come on, it's like the boxing equivalent of the bloody Marilyn Monroe quotes flying around left right and centre

No way did Fury pull out because Ustinov scared him at the weigh in. This is world class professional boxing we are talking about, not 12 yo kids in a playground!

The illness to his uncle is genuine, and as Hughie Fury is Peter Fury's older brother, it probably affected him more than Tyson. And it was Peter Fury's decision to withdraw, not Tyson's.

Other's posting here have hit the nail on the head - if Tyson hadn't trashed Chisora so viciously when Del Boy withdrew, then people would be more understanding and sympathetic towards him now. So yeah, as Corelone put it, he did shoot himself in the foot with that.

My sources tell me that the mere sight of Ustinov at the weigh in gave Tyson's uncle a heart attack....

                    Most people don't get this.

Ustinov is an oaf of porportions, why try and build him up?

I honestly don't think he would have won a single round against Fury.

When Ustinov was announced as a stand in for Chisora I was actually a little worried that Fury would find him TOO easy to handle, get over-confident and start playing around, which was the only way he could possibly have lost.
So if he had been scared - which he wasn't - that would only have helped him to win more easily.
