GGG clearly mentioned that he doesn't want to fight Ward.

The poor version of encounter in money terms but yes. The topic will be hot. But Wards needs to fight more to stay relevant.

Porter vs Thurman 1,2, and 3 will be the biggest fights in due time. And then me vs Porter when he's declining and I'm in my Prime.

Even ignoring the huge differences in commercial appeal and historical significance, they're not even in the same weight class. These sort of matchups get discussed and slip away all the time. Pacquiao and Mayweather was an era-defining matchup between the two best fighters (both in their division and in the sport) and two genuine crossover names.

When? Not that 'it's too much for me' interview'? smh.

Sanchez has basically said that yeah, Golovkin will fight Ward, but they don't want it as the 'B' side.

Golovkin himself has said something like -'yes. great fight. good for fans, for box'.

I think this fight will happen, but it has the potential to be a PPV level fight if Golovkin keeps on building and Ward becomes a little more active, so they'd be smart to wait until it's as big as it can be.

Difference is If Ward wants the fight to happen he can make it happen but he is just simply far too scared to move down to 160lbs...
So why compare this match up with Mayweather vs Pacquiao who are both at 147lbs?

Yep, even Ward admitted that'll be a bigger fight down the line and it needs to build up (in his interviews). He was just being ****y and arrogant to jump on GGG's comments "I'll fight anyone 154-168".

Meanwhile I remember there was a video of pre-fight meeting either ag. Rosado or Macklin (if somebody has it, please post it), where Jim Lampley half-joked about GGG having an opponent in Ward: everybody laughed except Ward who became a bit defensive, saying "Why are you all laughing", and GGG himself said back then "Yes, but not right now, maybe in the future". So Ward neglected this episode in his recent comments as if it never happened. Ok....
