This is the same thing that Froch's promoter said about Golovkin. So, the only people who think GGG is a big dog who deserves a shot at the financial big shots in boxing are Golovkin, his team and his fans on this site. I guess this means we will continue to see GGG fighting the Sam Solimans and the Curtis Stevens of the boxing world unless and until Golovkin develops enough guts to fight Andre Ward and prove that he can draw on PPV and beat a top quality opponent.

When is a fighter actually going to give GGG a shot at the lineal title?

It was martinez with excuses and now it is cotto's turn, smh.

All gravy baby. I'd rather see Ward fight on Froch or one Dawson a year than the four muf.uckaz I had to look up on boxrec that GGG fought last year.

GGG has to do the same thing Cotto did -- move up a weight class (168) and beat the best opponent in that weight class (Ward) in front of 19,000 fans on PPV. If he does that, he will make it to the majors and earn a shot at Cotto or Froch at Wembley stadium. Beating a second tier fighter in front of 8,000 fans does not earn you a shot at the major leagues.

In the pacquiao fight cotto was weight drained with pacs no rehydration clause. Styles makes fights right? The cotto that fought mayweather and trout was not the same cotto that made him a beast at 140-147 lbs. He stopped using that left hook to the body and stopped being aggressive in fights.

Cause he's the lineal champion right. All of a sudden the lineal title means something. I remember back in 2006 a certain somebody got ****'d on for fighting a reigning lineal champion. My how times have changed

Yeah because Yuri Foreman, Austin Trout, etc,etc were all household names.
