(that fight fell through for what ever reason and he was gonna go up to 168) he's made the claim that anyone from 154 to 168 he will destroy. HE made this claim (not me) I want golovkin to fight anyone challenging at 168 & not just ward. someone like froch, groves, bika, ward, no one wants to see him fight soloman in a **** division while claiming to be this unstoppable beast. it's ret@rded............ 168 has andre dirrell, ward, groves, froch, bika, even abraham. it's far above 160.

and also. for ward. I WANT ward to fight kovalev. just not before he fights golovkin because i know when he moves up to 175 there will be 0 chance to ever see that fight.........get a clue
Hopkins also fought Morrade Hakkar, Carl Daniels, Syd Vanderpool and a plethora of other bums. It took him years to get a significant fight. Nice spin.

hopkins got his superstar mega fight at 160. he just couldn't win it (roy jones jr) after that loss he went back to the drawing board and begin to slowly build himself up back again (his trainer even said this) hints some of the weak op. where do we see a prime roy jones jr. in golovkins devision right now? where is this opportunity? i don't see it, all i see is cotto (who's not gonna fight him)

Having a bigger purse has absolutely nothing to do with the audience you draw. Floyd gets a huge purse too, you are telling me once these next 2 or 3 fights are over Showtime will give him another 32 million guarantee for 6 more fights? Each Ward fight loses money, no wonder him and his promoters are having problems. You would think he would take a fight with GGG simply because less money is still more than no money.

If there was a roy jones type at 160 GGG would have fought him. Point was Hopkins spent years at 160 winning belts before he got a big fight. He never went to 168/175 for bigger names during that time. Nor did Ward after he cleaned out 168. There is no obligation to move up in weight.

He cleaned out 168, had nothing left to prove there, and instead of fighting Dawson at 175 for the lineal LHW crown, which would have been a huge achievement, he prefers fighting Dawson at 168 which virtually makes the fight meaningless. He'll challenged Mayweather at 160 (because he knows he'll have a huge size advantage) but of course not GGG, because that would be way too dangerous. He'll only fight him on his terms where he'll have the physical advantages. Further, he's been so desperate for fights he begs Carl Froch and Kessler for rematches despite already clearly beating them, who does that?

Anyways, if GGG wants to stay at 160 and try to unify, Ward and his fans should honor that since Ward himself wanted to stay at 168 and unify and refuses to move up or down. It has to go both ways here or it's hypocritical.
              Oh I agree 100%.

But like I said I honestly doubt Ward could make 160.

I don't believe he was ever serious about a Mayweather fight.

ward is no where near as talented as a prime roy jones jr. if golovkin won't take on a ward challenge no way in hell would he take on a prime roy challenge (you're dreaming in lala land) he got uneasy when even lara started talking ****. what can't you understand? hopkins got his big name at 160 (prime roy) thats before he went on his title run. after he loss so lopsided they slowed him down and made him start from the drawing board. he did more sparring, training, running. they literally built him back up. thats not a comparable situation to golovkin who's in a crap division and there are no roy jones jr's to speak of.

Are people really this dumb? Ward is fighting NO ONE until he gets out of his promotional contract.
