so..darts, curling, rodeos, synchronized swimming, and lawn bowling are sports? but boxing? nah, boxing is just a televised beating, according to you.

everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I never once said that those other activities were or weren't sports...

I'm just saying that until boxing has a structured system, with medical plans, annual schedules, international commissioners, unilateral rules and regulations, profit sharing, national TV deals, etc etc etc.... it's a form of entertainment rather than an actual "sport"

You said you didn't consider Boxing a sport because of a bunch of shady decisions, then brought up the PPV..the sports I listed are considered sports, but dont require 3 judges to come up with a bunk answer or a referee to wave off a fight at the wrong moment, which was your main criteria for not listing boxing as a sport.

i think you're a disgrace to the sport by saying what you did, but w/e lets just drop this

my main criteria was actually: no commissioners, no schedule, & no medical plan, pay attention there Captain A.D.D.

and I don't know how I can be a disgrace to the sport, since I....ya know...am not a BOXER

you kids need hobbies, go ride your tricycle or somethin'

I actually do think it's the greatest sport in the world. The random person will know just about Tyson, Ali, etc but if you show them 1 classic fight such as a Hagler-Hearns, etc they will be instantly hooked. I know I was when I saw Mosley-DLH 1.
