Both use the shell. One has a granite chin to hold up vs a GGG thus he can utilize his skills.

If floyd were in with G his size using the shell wouldnt work. His chin is solid and his strenght and power are average. The power of a G would break through.

By comparison james is able to move up in weight still use the shell. Floyd has to move .

Toney would stick his thumb up GGG butt like he did with Rokin. Not on the same level

Tough call but I think Golovkin is often there to be hit and a defensive master like Toney would counter him all night. I think Floyd would land plenty on him too but prove too small to win.

James Toney UD. GGG would have a hell of time landing.

All depends on which Toney showed up I suppose. There was a focused, in shape physically and mentally Toney, and also an Unfocused, weight drained and uninterested Toney.

                    LOL

A focused Toney would be a tall order to beat for anyone! The other one well not nearly as hard to beat.

obviously the thread starter must not be too clued up with the old greats but this is a total joke. If GGG can miss geale then he would miss toney even a overweight toney. It would either end up being a overweight toney vs jirov or a focused toney vs barkley. Either way this is a silly question and GGG has no place in the ring with toney. Cant wait for his hype train to slow down.
