No, they won't. The love for GGG is strong here, and they will bend the rules for him.

Cotto got three mill because he was the promoter of that fight and sold HBO the international rights to the fight....so take out the international broadcast rights and how much did cotto make for actually fighting rodriguez not as a promoter/fighter but as a fighter? Neither Ward nor Golovkin is a promoter so they ain't getting that kind of money.

GGG should tell ward to fight at 155 so ward would know how dawson felt. GGG knocks out cotto in 2 rds. he is not a cripple like Martinez who I think got paid off

Ward didn't tell Dawson to fight at 168. 155 is a 13 pound difference. 168 is a 7 pound difference. Your math is off.

                Edwin was Ward's mandatory.

People are acting like Ward is a high risk low reward type fighter, the money may not be there but legacy wise it'd launch GGG into top 5 p4p status, so don't tell me it's not worth it. A win over Ward>>>>GGG defeating Quillin, Cotto, Chavez and any other scrubs that are in the MW division.

GGG would be recognized in boxing as the top dog with a W, it's not like he has to go through the extremely tough 168 division and actually earn a shot at Ward either, yet another reason!

Immediately after the Dawson KO, while still into the ring, Stevenson called Hopkins and, and... Andre Ward...
                      Nobody remembers?
... Did Ward had anything to say with this respect?
