Divisional supremacy? Lol. Everyone knows Cotto isn't a me. Everyone knows Golovkon would likely beat him. Golovkin is the best mw in the world. Beating Cotto is nice but there is no mandate. U are just making rules to fit your agenda.

All the rankings still have Cotto at #1/champ. It's worthwhile for GGG to pursue that, esp since it's not like he's being offered lucrative fights at other weight. In Ward's case, not even any kind of offer, much less appealing.

It's no brainer that Golovkin is after the WBC and Ring belts at the MW -- yesterday there was Martinez, now Cotto, and tomorrow will be Chavez Jr. or Canelo... Golovkin has slim chances to grab those belts. They seem to be a Latin-American business to date.

The weight thing is a laugable excuse considering he was going to move up for Chavez.

The reason he won't fight Ward is financial but these GGG fantards refuse to acknowledge that because it's the exact same reason Cotto isn't fighting him. Ruins their latest "ducking" crusade.

Fighting Ward doesn't make any financial sense but his team still believes they would knock him out. Fighting Rubio and Murray make more financial sense for GGG. GTFO

His team just told Ward to send the contract?

If you listened to what Sanchez said, he said "Ward has Roc Nation behind him, they have money, make us an offer".

Or are we going to pretend it's July 2014 when this thread was posted..?

I've been saying this for months it doesn't. The most HBO will pay for regular HBO fight is 4 million. THAT'S MAX! So Ward is auto gtd 2.5, but he's probably going to want more. GGG is a bigger draw so he deserves just as much or very close, so you're looking at a license fee of 5.5-6 million. It can't go PPV, because Ward doesn't have a big enough of a fan base. If anyone can prove me wrong i am dying to hear it.

                  GGG just wants to unify.

Free the belts and let the world know he is king!

Then if Ward really wants it he can get it!

All these GGG haters will shart their pants when he makes Ward two step around the ring.

                  GGG is the truth!

They won't. GGG gets a pass for everything around here. Dudes cleaned out the (weak ass) division and is waiting to get his hands on old past it (small) Cotto.

Move up! Fight Ward! Be a man!

"HE wants to unify doe." F1CK OFF!

His trainer said this during an interview. Not his Manager or promoter. So no, his "team" didn't say anything. Sanchez doesn't negotiate for Golovkin and certainly not during some random interview Ward might not even see.

I haven't heard anything from Golovkin either. If he wants the fight he should say it. Not Sanchez.I'm not impressed or convinced because of some words during an interview. That wasn't an offer or business proposition.
