Who is the more exciting fighter: Gennady Golovkin or Floyd Mayweather?

Proof is in the pudding. If people don't want to watch him fight cans, they don't want to watch him fight cans.

I'm not going to bastardize the English language just to give Golovkin a nod. If someone wants to make the claim that he is a more entertaining fighter, I would say ''You're entitled to your opinion." When it comes to excitement, more people would pay to see his fights if he was a more exciting fighter than Mayweather; the excitement would cause people to purchase his PPV. He generates less excitement, so his fights sell less.

I don't find Golovkin exciting at all. That's my opinion. He's slow, powerful, takes hits, fights poor opposition. It's boring. I'm not at the edge of my seat in a Golovkin fight. Neither in a Mayweather fight, but at least with Floyd he is the smaller guy so I always want to see how this smaller guy is going to win this fight. In a GGG fight it's like, okay you're good, I get it, your division sucks move up then i'll get excited. GGG has yet to have a performance like Mayweather did against Corrales, or even like Mayweather vs Cotto.

The performances Floyd gave me from 130 to 140 are enough to make up for the few performances he had that didn't look exciting.

But it's the "0" though, that's why Floyd sells so much. They want to see him lose.

Oh, so Golovkin's 0 does not matter, and people don't want to see him lose, so that's why he only sold 97k PPV's. So they don't want to pay to him lose, and they don't want to pay to see him win. They just want to root for him because he has a nice skin tone and pretty hair. If people want to pay to watch me lose my 0, i'll take that over people not wantintg to pay to watch me at all.

People are confusing the question. the poll states who is the more exciting fighter, not who you enjoy more seeing or who entertains you more, or who you support or love more as a boxer. Sure you can make a point that who entertains you more is also more exciting but you are reaching. for example people who are entertained more by golf don't say that golf is more exciting the the super bowl. It might be more entertaining to them but not more exciting.

I think a fair question to ask in order to really determine who is more exciting is, given that opposition level would be the same for both fighters who will initiate the action and making a more exciting fight. Bringing up level opposition has nothing to do with how exciting a fighter makes a fight.

Anyways i know that this is a troll thread and the answer is obvious but i still find it strange how many posters using unrelated and irrelevant information to try and prove that Floyd is more exciting fighter.

You can argue and most likely win when you say that Floyd has the better resume, more popular/more known, makes more money, fought better opposition, has better skill, participated in a more exciting fight back in the day etc. but you can't say he is more exciting fighter. is floyed your cup of tea? yes... is he more exciting... no

The answer for the majority is obviously GGG but, 5 million PPV buys say that lots of people like Floyd too. I like both styles to be honest but GGG gets my vote.
