GGG because he was taking on the bigger Bute and knocked him down with big gloves and headgear with one shot while Froch had to give an accumulation of punches to stop Bute.

Ya that's some power, KO'd him with headgear. Do you know the size of the gloves they use in the amateurs?

froch literally landed over 40 clean power punches during the fight including flush 3,4,5 punch combos and never actually put him down. ggg one punch ko's him with headgear and amateur gloves on the question shouldn't even be asked.

GGG & him fought when they was still kids. Bute was a middleweight!

Froch splattered him as a grown man, a world champion with a huge amount of added experience.

Froch's all day, that is the one that counts and matters.

Doesn't change anything and he turned pro right after up at light heavyweight & less of the casual crap you have 350 posts in 5 years.

Still pretty much a kid as was GGG. They was both barely 20 years old.
Christ look how flimsy he looks in the GIF

GGG, being a better schooled fighter, his knockout had a lot to do with perfect accuracy and the perfect shot. Froch just 'out-manned' Bute and beat him to a pulp. It's tough to say cause Bute did get back up against GGG (I think) and against Froch Bute looked badly hurt. Toss up for me.

Can't really compare the two, Bute at the time wasnt as experienced or confident when GGG pasted him,Bute had huge momentum with terrific boxing skills and one punch ko wins over top guys before he fought froch... Just look at both fights and look at the celebrations...gggs fight with Bute wasn't nearly as important as frochs and the celebrations say it all
