GGG's rising star will not diminish simply because Cotto did not fight him. GGG will continue to have a great career whether Cotto fights him or not. This whole duck nonsense only serves to satisfy the petty self satisfaction of internet keyboard warriors that would never do the hard work and sacrifice that these two guys put into their craft.

GGG has tons of respect for Cotto as a fighter and as a champion. He understands that a fight with Cotto would be huge for him, but I can guarantee that GGG wouldn't say anything negative about Cotto should that fight not come off. He understands the game and where Cotto is at in his career.

Add Klitscho to the list of bigger fighters Cotto will not be facing.

Why stop at Klitscho,... Cotto ducked Ward, Sam Peter, Kovalev, Pascal... The list is long.

Cotto has had a good career and he got it done without PEDs or magic plaster wraps.

I love cotto , but come on what is it with the Klit/Kov duck BS example ? he Cotto is the rainning undisputed WBC MW Champion of the world with the Ring Lineal title as well , you want to tell me its not in reason to ask him to defend it against MW`s ? not even taking GGG into account (which i think you should but whatever) , let him fight some other good MW then , the fact he just grabs it , sits on it , and then sells it to floyd in september , or defend against 147 guys is what makes ppl hate on him , he did great winning it not let it go , no shame in it.

First ballot HOF? I don't think so. Not if he blatantly ducks GGG.

... then the maricones will come up with a lame excuse.

          Cotto is a bum. That's a fact!

GGG stops the maricon in less than 3 rounds.

Rosado's 1st fight at 160 was GGG. They call that a great win.

              HAHAHAHA

Funny how the haters will praise ANY GGG win but find fault in ANY Cotto victory going back to his days at 140lbs...

It's actually become funny at this point.

You have to laugh it off bro. At this point, it's not even about "boxing" or a "belt..." It's deep rooted peasant rage. Embrace it and take it as a compliment. I do.

If he wants to go back to a lower division no duck and its totally understandable but if he fights other MWs or some CW between 154-160 its a blatant duck. The problem is that he has not made his intent clear.

As he GGG should. Cotto is no middleweight. Cotto's career is already set in stone and what's left is mere business win or lose.
