This. I dont think anybody wants to see this fight because GGG is the naturally larger guy and would most likely put a real beating on Cotto. In all honesty, i wouldnt wanna see that, i like seeing competitive fights. Cotto could hang around for maybe 3-4 rounds and then GGG will take over. Cottos been in many wars as it is. Then again hes a big boy and if he welcomes the GGG challenge props to him. The ideal situation is for him to vacate and move back down and avoid GGG. GGG will then have his rightful place in the MW division.

Golovkin makes Kneeguel do the Quitto or Quitto take the Kneeguel. Take your pick.

I'm not even going to bother.

if he fights and beats canelo at 154, he can even call floyd for a shot at the lineal jmw title... but eith, why even bother? he is being doing well at MW his entire career...

If Cotto doesn't face GGG it's a blatant duck. It's as simple as that.

Cotto has enough credit in the bank. So beit if he does duck GGG. He has never ducked anyone else in his career and if he decides he is simply NOT a middleweight, I am sure Cotto can live with that.

Add Klitscho to the list of bigger fighters Cotto will not be facing.

Why stop at Klitscho,... Cotto ducked Ward, Sam Peter, Kovalev, Pascal... The list is long.

Cotto has had a good career and he got it done without PEDs or magic plaster wraps.

Sorry but Cotto ducking GGG would make his resume take a huge hit.

Disagaree. This is not a Floyd needs Manny type of situation. Cotto's resume is all set. He could retire tomorrow with his work at 140-147lbs alone.

If Cotto vacates his title, no damage is done. If he tries to hold on to it and hide from Golovkin, his legacy takes a hit. No one looks good if they end their career as a chicken. Better to be a man and admit that GGG is too much of a risk to take at this point in his career and give up the belt.
