The HBO broadcast had the atmosphere of a funeral from the start. Or lugubrious if I want to use the word of the day. It's why I wish Macklin vs Geale had happened instead. That would have been a fun fight.

He's already fought and destroyed Macklin. Blew him out in the 3rd, just last summer.

I'm confused by your point here...so his fans aren't supposed to think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread if as you say he's arguably the best middleweight in the world. I respect your opinion of not seeing it, I have felt that way about other boxers who i've been like wtf about when i see people treating them like jesus. Peter Quillin is prime example of that. The difference here is Peter Quillin is an average fighter, clearly this dude is something special. His pedigree is indicative of it, I understand also his resume isn't the most beefiest but for a site that fill its time arguing about amateur careers and medals they sure turn hypocrite on this dude and honestly sometimes it feels a bit racist. This dude is heavily decorated and most other boxers with his history would've been having their nuts ****** site wide here.

Very similar to how pretty much everyone, his supporters included, felt Broner was overrated when being touted as a potential elite. I'm not the one acting like this dude is unbeatable. I'm just judging him according to those standards. And according to those standards, he's unimpressive IMO. I'm not judging him ad the best fighter in a bad division. I'm judging him as the guy who'll fight anybody from 54-68. And the guy I saw tonight would get the cowboy **** beat outta him by Andre Ward and you know it.

if someone else with serious punching power landed that shot geale did,
then golovkin would have been in trouble,
he took that shot flush...

Look, Geale is weak, no power in his punches and no definition in his shoulders, biceps or triceps at all. GGG is built like a farm animal and Geale is built like a Victorian stateswoman who has never lifted an article in her life.

GGG-Froch would be an amazing fight.

IMO it's not fair to ask GGG to move and to fight the best (Ward). Froch is about right and his style would make it much better fight too.

Ward should fight Kovalev, not GGG.

This is my point in a nutshell. GGG stans live in a world where they wanna pretend this dude is indestructable. But when it comes to Ward, they tuck their tails like straight up b1tches.

BTW, I think Froch is maybe the most overrated fighter in boxing. But he hits a helluva lot harder than anything GGG has face. GGG better learn some defense. Cause if Froch lands anything close to the right hand he finished Groves with. He'll f.uck GGG's world up.
