GGG is easy to hit and can't fight on the inside. Ward is probably a lil naturally bigger, stronger, and a mauler, who's just as if not more skilled than GGG. Cool your jets. I'm not saying GGG sux. I'm just saying Ward is all wrong for him stylistically, which is why GGG's team and fans don't want none. I'm sure GGG would love to test himself against Ward. But he's kinda in the post-Demarco position Broner was. Its about building a superstar before he even proves he's star material.

I thought Geale was doing a pretty good job, he made GGG look ordinary in the first 2 rounds, which also happens to the best fighters ever that they get off to a slow start, but for some reason I think there's something fishy about the knockout, I think the punch wasn't hard at all since Golovkin was actually being caught by a right hand while loading up on the punch, which would normally take the power away from the punch being thrown by Golovkin. I also think Geale jumped back up too fast, he should've stayed down for 5 or 6 seconds to recover then get up.
Still a legit win for GGG against a top middle weight (for the first time). I would like to see GGG against Quillin or Jacobs. He can also fight Cotto or Canelo, it would be interesting to see him with someone that cab move and take a punch as well.

GGG deft showed he's the man at 160-168 (yes, even ward) but I think he deserves more credit for the Steven fight than this one. Geale has no fkin heart. Geale has no fkin heart, Stevens came to fight and even caught GGG with some solid shots.

The mofo looks like he's gliding his steps are compact and smooth..I noticed that tonight and his shoulder height does not change in the motion either. You can call that good training, religious infact.

His jab is always the aspect that impresses me most, besides his power of course. Golovkin has a great jab. The timing, power, the way he uses it to control where his opponent goes, it's a serious weapon. Damn thing probably feels like a right hand.

He takes punches to go into beast mode, if you want to hate on that then you are clearly not a fan. The funny thing is this dude can actually box, like legitimately box if he needed to but folks forget that because he's been on a KO war path.
I don't think one GGG "hater" would argue against him being the best middleweight in the world. But that's not enough. His supporters act like he's already elite. Hell, some think he's am ATG. And according to the hype surrounding him, personally I don't see it.

The HBO broadcast had the atmosphere of a funeral from the start. Or lugubrious if I want to use the word of the day. It's why I wish Macklin vs Geale had happened instead. That would have been a fun fight.

He looks to be the best middleweight but how exactly has he shown that he's the man at 168?
