but the reality is geale hit him with a good shot before golovkin landed the final blow,
if someone else with serious punching power landed that shot geale did,
then golovkin would have been in trouble,
he took that shot flush...

Even the HBO commentators noted that it appeared Golvkin had sized up Geale's power and decided that he was going to take a punch to give a punch. If he was fighting someone that could hurt him, he wouldn't have left himself that vulnerable. He was much more responsible vs Stevens. It was clearly a case of him leaving openings to get Geale to let his hands go so that he could get him to stop moving long enough to get his power in.
