This is just like the Canelo situation where everyone said Floyd would never fight him because he's scared and a coward. We all seen what happened next. This time if Floyd did fight GGG and gave him a boxing lesson, the excuses would be weight.

Fight makes no sense, neither man is a true junior middle weight. They should both stick to fighting people their size......

Isnt Floyd lineal, reigning, 2x champ at sww? You make him seem like a feeble paper champ

Of course he would. Anyone at 160 would drop the 6lbs for a Floyd payday if they got the opportunity - this almost goes without saying. there's probably a good number at 168 who would drain themselves silly as well.

Hell, I walk at about 170, but I'd go to 154 for a coupla $mil.

No way this fight ever happens though.

And I think May is walking around 150 or something like that he won't fight with a natural middleweight who two sizes bigger than him. I don't expect from Mayweather to choose Golovkin.
Abel sanchez needs to STFU and he should be more respectful with Geale and not totally overlooking him and speak about Mayweather, Cotto etc... before the Saturday fight.
Since when did Floyd only fight household names?

Floyd wouldn't have any excuses to avoid him.

Household name? Why did he fight Ortiz and Guerrero then?
Recent losses? Why did he fight Maidana, or Cotto when he did?
Too big? 6 pounds isn't much.

GGG is the most exciting fighter today. People want exciting. He's undefeated, and an established champion. He's a killer.

Mayweather won't fight him because of the risk. Same reason he didn't fight Pacquiao. Difference is, GGG is much larger. That said, yes, he would be a tad weight drained and would likely suffer for it.

A healthy, but terrified Floyd would keep his distance throughout a boring, unanimous 12 round decision over a weight drained opponent.
