This fight wasn't the best that could have been made but at least it's a fight. Inactivity is the last thing PAC needs right now, to me this fight is a stay busy kind of fight and hopefully PAC doesn't consider this dude a sparring partner and lay down on him. As long as Team PAC do what they do best, it'll be an easy night for Manny.

if floyd fights algieri would you say "at least its a fight" or would u crucify him for it saying hes a coward.. Stop the double standard, manny is a chump , he re signed with arum for this reason, to stay away from real competition. This fight is trash

Hey guys,ALGIERI with one eye and two kds suffered he found a way to beat by decision a MONSTER like PROVODNIKOV,the guy can take punishment it's not a easy fight at all!!!
If MANNY was the PAC-MAN of 2009 no problem about a win by stoppage but now he get caught too many by straight hand and ALGIERI has long arms,good jab and footwork...(best combo:short jab,left uppercut and straight right hand),MANNY will have to find a way to shine or the night will become a long night IMO. THIS FIGHT IS MORE LEGIT THAN VICTOR ORTIZ vs XYLOCAINE JR.!!!

Possible, but very unlikely. He doesn't seem to have the same freakish power he had in the past. I think stylistically, this is a risky fight. And oddly enough, Algieri doesn't even deserve the fight.

Why do people keep saying pacs freakish power is no longer there. Mike Tyson has freakish power. Pacs power was in the lighter weights or his natural weight. Pacs forte is punches in bunches from freakish angles which sooner or later catches his opponents off balance.

I would say he should stay a Jr. Welterweight, or continue fighting @ CW 144. I could see his future opponents in guys like Crawford and Mikey Garcia.

I guess joke coach Roach finally stopped making ridic KO predictions that never happen lol. He prob knows that if Ruslan could not stop this kid Pac sure isnt going to. Pac has 1 stoppage in his last 9 fights. Guess the PED's did all they could at the lighter weights lol. Technically Cotto was a JWW in that fight due to the catchweight so in reality Pac has stopped zero actual WW's. Which I still don't understand why people continue to talk about Pac's power. If Algieri hears the final bell Pac's KO % will dip into the 50's % wise.

I will be rooting for Algieri 100%.
