    My prediction, TKO9.
Not a bad prediction, I was right about him getting outboxed.

Your credibility is as low as ever, Geoff.

How could anyone who actually saw fights of both fighters think Lacy would win, let alone win convincingly?

I remember being a Lacy fan who had never seen Calzaghe fight so I didnt know what to think.

Wow, it really is stunning how horribly wrong basically EVERYONE was! Now of course, those same people who were toting 'Left Hook' Lacy as the next big thing in boxing and saying he was already a star and the best fighter in not only his division but one of the best in the entire sport, are saying that he is overrated and one dimensional! Hilarious how this works lol

Anyway, after reading the many 'Lacy will walk through Calzaghe easily! He is unstoppable. Lacy KO 7' type predictions, it is easy to imagine them sitting in stunned silence as they watched the fight seeing how badly Lacy was beaten.

You'd point to nationalism, but he was an underdog in Wales too I think.

Yes he was, a decent underdog all across the UK.

if Lacy loses this fight then what?? is it still the biggest at 168 since RJJ & Toney ? No. pathetic

its only the biggest american fight at 168 if Lacy wins, how pathetic,
              Lmao... He was right!

3 days in to the new year, & we already have a hard-to-top leader in the race for 2008's "Loser of the Year" award. It goes to the person who wasted an incredible amount of time to dredge up this insignificant, two year old thread.
                Congratulations.

...and a giggle at the so-called experts expense. Lacy by KO in 2 rounds?

I wasnt a member at that time, i watched it with my best mate who is usually spot on at predicting fights, he predicted Lacy by ko/stoppage, i went for Calzaghe TKO RD10. Both wrong in the end, but i knew calzaghe had too much handspeed.

By the way everyone gets predictions wrong, Mik is a good guy, but he did predict Hatton Ko2 Mayweather, that was a shocker.
