Comments Thread For: Fury: Chisora/Haye Conning People, Bad For Boxing

Tyson Fury is adamant he will not step foot in the same ring as British heavyweight rival Dereck Chisora in future after the Londoner pulled out of their scheduled fight this Saturday.

The duo were set to settle their differences at the Phones 4 U Arena in Manchester this weekend, but Chisora pulled out of the rematch, which was billed as a final eliminator for the WBO title, on Monday.

While promoter Frank Warren insists Fury is contractually locked in to a rearranged date in October, the 6ft 9in Manchester fighter insists he wants to face WBC champion Bermane Stiverne if he gets past Chisora's stand-in opponent Alexander Ustinov.

I like Fury and I understand his frustration of having fights post ponned and cancelled. I also know Chisora and met him but he's injured. Chisora doesn't duck anyone and he really wants this fight but unlike the previous fight between them he is in no state to fight, he's injured.

I am not sure about Chisora, but Haye is most certainly a conman.

Chisora is clearly injured, and he's proven he'll fight anyone anywhere, including Tyson when he shouldn't have been anywhere near a ring.

He's right about Haye though. The recent rant from Haye about Tyson not deserving to be rich was just disgusting.

Why he deserves? He's bullying former cruisers and overweighted, short heavyweight. He never proved that he is a serious contender, Ustinov, the replacement will be one of his most serious test. Why he deserves to be a millionaire already? You don't deserve to be rich because you have a big, loud mouth and talk **** on everyone, even on people who are injured. You know, the normal thing is when something happen like this that he wishes well to Haye/Chisora, wisses them get better soon, not talk **** on them because they injured. So his resume isn't great + he is a simple maul, why he deserves to be rich? No offense but brits always know how to hype up domestic level fighters and they almost always overrate them, or not domestic level just simple overhype. A few copy: Brook, Brian Rose, Haye, David Price, Chisora. And formerly Khan and Audley Harrison too.
Oh and Haye injured as well, otherwise why the hell he'd turn down the fight? He would get some millions and he already fought better fighters than Fury so don't come with the "scared" thing.

Kind of ironic coming from Haye, wouldn't you say?

Fury has a decent resume at this stage. He's beaten the british champions, the current EBU champ, former 2 time world champ in Cunningham, former world title contender in Kevin Johnson etc.

He's willing to fight anyone and has trained most of his life to be what he is. He deserves to be a millionaire just as much as the next guy does. He trained like a trojan for Haye and Chisora, one fight would bring him £5m the other close to £1m - why doesn't he deserve that money if he signed and trained for the fight and it was cancelled through no fault of his own.

I'm not claiming anyone faked an injury, as I don't believe either man did - but to say he's not deserving a big purse out of spite is just pathetic.

C'mon, Cunningham was always a natural cw not a heavyweight at all and Fury is a 206 cm tower. But even with this size he knocked down by Cunningham. Okay after he turned the fight, props for that, but otherwise that wan't a convincing vicory at all. And don't bring up Kevin penguin Johnson, who was/is years out of his prme and every C-B level contender beat him.

Base on that logic every fighter deserve to be a millionaire who train hard. In parts that's true but in boxing can't everyone be a millionaire so if you wanna be rich it's not bad if you have a good rseume or something. Fury didn't want to fight an eliminator VS Pulev when he had the chance, if he'd fight him and he is the top guy who he claims he is, maybe now in September he'd fight with Wlad for big money. But he didn't live with the chance yet call Wladimir a p#ussy. Fury had the chance to fight with Haye and Chisora because his big mouth and his persona and brits dying for domestic fights, not because he is an extraorinary fighter, serious contender for a world title or something like that. And if he already got fight for millions the minimum is he takes the trainings seriously, this is his job. So he got these fights because he's sellable because his interviews and ****y persona not because he deserved it with his levelof competition. So I still don't understand why is he deserve to be a millionaire. I think other hard working but less rude fighters maybe deserve it too or deserve it more. So I still don't feel sorry for him.

Yes he was. So what? Haye talked himself into fights more than Fury has. It is what it is though, I don't think Haye should tell anyone who deserves to get paid.

It's not his problem, and the fact he'd even go there, is pathetic in my opinion.
