Andre Ward even said GGG defense was much better then Chavez Sr...Andre was talking bout all the good things GGG does from footwork to the subtle things he does with his defense so I think Andre knows more then you about defense...

Don't be fooled by the article, a lot of what Abel said was actually said back in 2011, 2012 the author is just repeating it. The stuff about the Stevens fight was probably the only new thing in this article for me.

I just wish they didnt do that thing with chavez jr. They told chavez jr that the only way he gets the fight with GGG is that if he resigns for i think was like 3-5 fights or something like that. They said that if he doesnt resign, he doesnt get the fight. hhmmm mr arum what are you trying to do?

A showdown between super middleweight contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin is all but dead, the promoters for each fighter told ESPN.com.

Thats not true. They were only willing to pay him outrageous for that fight if he resigned. He also coulda took it without reupping for much less money, though still decent

[QUOTE=Cuauhtémoc1520;14794050]You could see it almost immediately. He moves like Chavez, throws the hook like him and cuts the ring off the same way.

He's not as good defensively, or offensively IMO. Chavez moved his head much, much more and while everyone talks about his left hook, Chavez' right hand was a thing of beauty.

GGG has time though, I don't know if he will ever be what Chavez was, but he has the right man in his corner.[/QUOTE
