Because then there wouldn't been any drama to the fight and IT wouldn't sell....Floyd is like 1000 to 1 favorite or somithing like that.Theres a bigger chance to been hit by lighting that Miadana to hit floyd and hurt him....

I hate the spectacle Floyd has become.

I hate that he is the SOLE reason the fight with Pacquiao never happened (and likely won't until well after it truly determines who the best was at their height).

But the fans need to shut up about the gloves. Would they have said a damn thing about the gloves if Maidana had won the first fight? Conversely, if Maidana had been able to use his original gloves, and he had lost, what then? Or if he wins with his unpadded gloves, would people have given Floyd the excuse?

This was a no-win situation on the internet no matter how it went down.

If Maidana was able to use his Mx gloves or better yet cleto Reyes. He would have won it.

Evident when Floyd can't even stand up and was sitting on his heels before the ring announcement who won that night. He was kringing in pain.and that's with pillow gloves.

With punchers gloves Floyd wouldn't be standing before that ring announcement.

maidana can easily wear those damn gloves if he wants.. floyd will not cancel the fight, hes not ******, chino is letting floyd bully him around.. Seriously what can floyd do if maidana puts on the gloves and says he wont take em off.. will floyd risk losing showtime money and get involved in the outrage from the fans.. i feel bad that maidana doesnt speak english, he cowards into a corner when floyd raises his voice.. Lets call floyds bluff and see if he really will cancel the event, maidana has to grow balls and be firm. He is not breaking any rules with those gloves, so if i was in his corner il tell him to just wear em and see what floyd does.
