Maybe I am just a bit old fashioned so why not fight at least one legit respectable top ten fighter before you even think about fighting for a title. With that said I wasn't even giving him much credit for picking Chisora, much less Ustinov.

Except your legitamacy of criticizing either just flew out the window since he is fighting Ustinov on short notice. Good opposition is better than poor opposition, but any opposition is better than inactivity, when you are trying to climb the ranks. Fury also will fight anyone, with few exceptions (Khan comes to mind) you can only respect a fighter with that mentality, and the irony of your statement, is that that's an old fashioned way of thinking.

To me Chisora is a respectable top10 fighter. And you cant ask for a better replacement in such short time.

Ustinov is a top 10 fighter. WBA rank him higher than Fury. Be honest, you wouldn't give Fury credit whoever he picked.

So, he will fight anyone because he says he will fight anyone. But as of today Fury hasn't fought anyone, and you question my legitimacy? That is laughable and its not my legitimacy you should be worried about. Once again this is a case of Fury fans confusing trash talking with what has actually happened in the ring. And trying to compare Fury with Khan is as laughable as it is ridiculous.

Chisora may be a top ten trash talker but I don't believe he is a legit top ten heavyweight. But I would be interested in why you believe he is one.

Who honestly pays attention to WBA rankings? But for 5hits and giggles I looked at them today. And low and behold the WBA has a career cruiserweight from Nigeria ranked as the 5th best HW and they have Travis Kaufman as the 15th top HW. Honestly I had no need to look any further and I was also laughing so hard I started hyperventilating.

As far as giving Fury credit I am not aware of other offers, if any, they may have had. With that said and in fairness to Fury I can understand that he wants to fight and I really have no issues with Ustinov as a replacement. But that in no way means that he is a legit opponent, regardless of what the WBA or his fans have to say. And this fight sure as hell shouldn't lead to a any kind of a title fight for Fury. But I have a sneaky su****ion that this fight will put Fury in line to fight Chagaev for the WBA regular HW belt.
