[QUOTE=jcj0427;14793176]And the key words are not a "5 years ago" Sergio, the keys are a "healthy" Sergio, which he wasn't that night.[QUOTE]

Its funny that Sergio and his doctors said that he was (healthy which i really didnt believe and thought it was just sergio being a man and taking his L until the MRI results) but i guess you know more from the computer you sit at then the doctors that took the MRI on the knee and deamed it "healthy".

to me i atribute the Loss to being off for so long and having ring rust also sergio doesnt start fast he has also had a shaky chin as of his late fights.

an MRI determing a knee unfractured and the ability to put heavy workload on a knee thats had 2 surgeries in the past are 2 diff things. Go away clown.

lol yes computer doctor (and im the clown talking out of my profession) so on a serious note a medical doctor gave a medical assessment with an MRI ( to back up his medical assessment) and a medical specialist that specializes on MRI readings also looks at the MRI ( i know because i have had one done on my lower back) and it concurs with what sergio and his team and promoter said ie his knee was good and took the L like a man. WOW Man i must be a clown. but you the medical computer doctor is right his knees where ****ed and cotto made him take the fight and all the people here saying months before the fight that if sergio was at 40-50% he would distroy cotto in 9 round or less are all right. yea this clown is out....

Yes, I would love nothing more than to see him lose to see his fans humble down and cross bandwagons like they did with Matthysse losing to Garcia, they said then Matthysse didn't stand a chance against Provodnikov, then Prov loses to a featherfisted boxer, and all attention is back to Golovkin. When Golovkin loses, all attention will be on Kovalev.

Overraters and bandwagon hoppers saying irrational things about who a fighter can beat, without the fighter ever fighting any one in the level of the fighter that his fans claim he can beat, can cause fans to turn on those fighters being over hyped.

See, for example, most Floyd fans agree that Floyd loses to SRL, on the other hand, many Golovkin fans feel that he can beat Marvin Hagler. Don't ask me to link you up, it's too old and it was after the Proksa fight. Something like 30+ votes for GGG and 50 for Hagler. I imagine those 30+ votes for GGG were the usual suspects.
I agree. GGG isn't a world class elite fighter yet like these forums and HBO praise him to be. It was just like how Canelo was a god on these forums around the time he beat Josesito Lopez. But then after that, his buzz sunk down after a less impressive win vs Trout. Everyone was saying how Floyd was scared of him and ducking him only to take the fight and embarrass Canelo, now he isn't like he use to be around here.
Yes, Kovalev will be the next hype train in full force soon.

            Bring it on!
Win lose or draw I'll pay top dollar to watch the giant slayer take on his greatest challenge. Although I think a Canelo-GGG winner is a better option for Miguel. Assuming freckles fight on Cinco de Mayo that is..

So what was he supposed to say? "Yes my knees are done, Cotto fought a hell of a fight but I was nothing of my true self in there without my knees under me" haha. I guess Cotto fans weren't born with common sense. This is the business of boxing, and you can't make people think they've been lied to into buying high profile boxing ppv's.

Please point out to where I said a 40% Sergio would beat Cotto. What others have said is irrelevant. So let me get this straight.....you have to be a doctor to understand the definition of what an MRI is? LOL, sell that to the rest of your delusional Cotto fan base bro. I suppose you also know Sergio personally to know why he took the fight right? Get serious bro.

No but seriously I think Canelo stands a slightly better chance against GGG.
Incidentally I think a skirmish between Cotto and Canelo is dead even at 155-160.

A less then impressive win over Trout is better than getting completely outclassed by Trout.

Cotto did fairly well verse a guy who is taller and has a 6 inch reach advantage over him fighting from the outside. He did better then what the score cards said.

In his defense, Martinez own manager agrees the first round sapped the spirit right out from him. It's very likely he was concussed after being clipped by the first big hook. I don't know what vertigo feels like, but I can imagine it's something like being completely ****faced then getting tossed headfirst into a deep pool by an arsehole. Sergio has addressed this and admits his equilibrium was off. He never really hit his stride. His next fight will be very telling but for now I think it's safe to assume Cotto's early work certainly had a lot to do with Sergio's lackluster performance. Regardless I don't see him hanging with any of the world class talent at 160.
