There is a reason why he is fighting in Latvia, most sane commissions would question his getting a licence to fight.

Tarver I was not a great performance, he barely got through that fight and in all reality, many believe he lost it.

I know I've asked this question before, but how would Roy have done at CW back in 1998-2002?

He pulled out victory from the snares of defeat. On a night where he had nothing. I guess we all have different definitions of what a good performance is. BTW, "many" believe he lost is stretching it.

a fair few, especially those in the boxing business did believe he lost it, which was why there was such a furor for a rematch. Having said that, I personally believe he sc****d by with a points win, a single point.

If this is what he wants to do then there is nothing anybody can do about it. If he gets seriously hurt then its because he's doing something he loves.

Boxing is his life and obviously he's willing to put his life on the line for it.

No, I don't believe most in the boxing business believe he lost it.

I had Jones winning 7-5 or 8-4 but Tarver was competitive in most rounds and took a lot out of Roy that night. Those were some bombs he ate in the eighth, which is why Jones coming on to eke it out in the championship rounds makes it a damn good win to me. He was not supposed to win that night.

what are you on about? he had just beaten Ruiz and was regarded by most as P4P number one, his fame was at it's absolute peak, Kellerman and the HBO crew were on full RJJ **** sucking alert. How was he not supposed to win that night? He was the favourite lol stop fan boying bro and grow up. Tarver is a b level fighter who should never have made it that close against a guy as good as RJJ was supposed to be.

Yes there may have been weight issues and his age but all those excuses came after.
