Beercules, denial is a stinky cologne my friend. As somebody said earlier in this thread, Ladra fought with no urgency or heart, but he is a 100% Twitter warrior tho. LOL.

Dude didn't do enough, out landed Canelo, sure, but we both know that the punches were basically all jabs and that helps the good ole percentage. Nelo out landed Lara in power punches and made the fight.

Here is why Canelo won: Canelo's body work was getting to Lara. After the 4th, Lara stopped throwing. Nelo was never hurt or even affected by Lara's punches. That is very telling while scoring a professional fight. If it was olympic style scoring, Lara wins, no doubt.

Lara lost, get over it and please move on.

yeah he threw with bad intentions the funny thing is that he was hitting air and elbows, or you counting those too? Look a gingers face again... Lara stood on front of ginger he didn't know what to do.

More like Lara looked like the child, running around, with Canelo, his daddy, chasing him around with the strap! ahaha =P

Seriously, that trainer should have been fired for this statement

Canelo looked like a MAN willing to fight and win.
Lara looked like a COWARD unwilling to fight like a man, throwing a few jabs and pot shots each round, always running away or clinching.

Yes, at times Canelo looked clumsy and pathetic throwing those blows in the air or on the ropes, missing miserably. But at times (most times) he also looked in command, powerful, throwing very strong punches to the body and a very few to the face, that really stunned and rocked his pusillanimous opponent, and that's the very reason why cowardly Lara decided to avoid fighting, when he felt the power of Canelo's punches, even though the redhead could only get a very low percentage of 100% clean punches in. Just a clean one like the one he landed on Trout would have easily sent the Cuban to the canvas.

Lara and his team are all-mouth outside the ring. But inside the ring, their guy is a total coward who will run and clinch at the slightest sign of his opponent's attack. I am not a Canelo fan, but I am very glad he won, because I hate big-mouth whining cowards who fight like Lara and think they can get away with it. I think Canelo should challenge this big-mouthed Lara guy to a glove-free fist fight in the street with no rules, and wait for his cowardly answer and excuses. Surely he and his team will just shut up for good and stop whining about the fight's result and saying that the coward is a better "fighter" than cinnamon, because the Cuban would get killed by Canelo, without a ring and gloves involved.

IMO, it was a close fight, but all this running talk is an excuse. When JCC was in his prime, you never heard his fans use the excuse that his opponent was running. When guys tried to "run" he either:

            1. Hunted them down and forced them to fight; which usually meant his opponent would eventually get a beating.

            2. He would get outboxed (which happened rarely).

Lara's movement, which hurt him at times, was allowed by Canelo. Either because he couldn't cut off the ring, or he was reluctant to over commit.

Lara couldn't block any body shots,, that seems to be a novice mistake..

Canelo won, Lara had his chance and blew it

OMG. Did you watch the fight? You are in denial. Lara avoided standing in front of Nelo like the plague! WTF are you talking about. Dude, sure Canelo was missing and hitting air, but you can't deny the body work. You talk about Canelo's face, look at Lara's face all bloody and swollen.

Buddy, every time lara stood in fron of ginger he just look at him, watch the fight and count it, ginger cut Lara on the right brow in the seven, that is not a bloody face or swollen, canelos face was swollen, a lots of the body shots landed on the elbows or hit nothing but air, and if you think I'm in denial, think again, I'm very happy that he got rob and very disappointed in him and his corner, he was hitting canelos face every time he threw, his corner told him to "keep doing what you doing" instead of telling him to throw more, very seldom did he threw the third punch after the 1-2, and when he threw the third one it hurt canelo, so I'm not in denial and any fan that is happy with what happened in that fight is not a fan, it is a fan boy, canelo didn't won that fight and he look exactly what he is, an average fighter with push behind, and lara should have know better...
