I'd like to say I'm surprised that the NSAC granted him a license based on his past criminal record but, c'mon, this is Nevada we're talking about here. It will be really interesting to see what network will want to televise Haymon's brand of match making. I'm interested in seeing the Garcia v Matthysse type fights but those are the exception to his rule.

This isn't the past anymore this is the present. Please Floyd fan stop bringing up the past to utilize it for the present. Pacquiao deserves to fight Floyd, we all want to see it, it doesn't matter about someone's past record in this case anymore, they're both getting old. The fight is long overdue, and if you don't want to see the fight then you are not a true boxing fan, just a Floyd nut hugger. What's Floyd's excuse now? "Pacquiao still has Marquez problems". This is ALL Haymon I am sure, his way of having a Promotion and still remaining a Manager without breaking the Law. Eventually all of his fighters will move away from Golden Boy Promotions and all of his fighters will eventually end up fighting on Mayweather Promotions Cards instead. It is actually something that should have been done YEARS AGO to be honest.

Mayweather will be just the name and the face but Haymon will be making the investments and providing funding for events I am sure.

be honest with yourself and the other NSB posters. Every time there is a Floyd article, 90% of the posters criticize him to no end. the other posters that say something favorable end up getting bashed to no end.
Sometime I feel they should change the name of the forum to NSFH - Non Stop Floyd Hate.

As for Manny, if you're being honest, the hate or disrespect is no where near the level of Floyds'. Most people I see that near saying something negative about Manny really direct it towards Bob Arum. Manny gets sympathy and the compassionate treatment from the majority of the posters here. He's liked.

Also, in this forum if you say something negative about Manny, you better be prepared to be verbally attacked and called out of your name. Not to say that Floyd poster don't do the same, but more so to say the Manny supporters are more vile and hateful and somewhat personal in their rebuttals.

Agree Mayweather will be the face with Shaeffer/ Haymon running things similar to what GB should have been before Oscar tarnished his brand.

Mayweather will be the name that attracts casual fans that don't know or care about boxing but are familiar with the Mayweather name.
