I think Fury is a great prospect and future heavyweight champ. This could be the fight that tells me if I'm right or wrong about that.
If he concentrates and boxes rather than brawls, I think Fury will handle Ustinov without too many problems. But if he starts showboating or tries to slug it out, he could end up in big trouble.

Ustinov could throw a wrench into Fury's gears if he plays this smart.

Fury's whole training plan was based on backing up, moving, and firing long range at a short target coming forward.

Ustinov should do the opposite of Chisora. Use his arm length, jab, throw straight punches from upstairs, stay in the center of ring, and force Fury to come to him.

Ustinov is more durable than Chisora. Fury could wear himself out trying to hurt him. If he gets tired in the late rounds, Ustinov might jump on him.

          Exactly.

Ask David Tua if Ustinov is a big stiff idiot.

Tua got in the best shape he's been in for years and Ustinov destroyed him.

Some of the guys who run their mouths on here are really amusing.

Good post. I am with you on the Fury bandwagon, he is coming for that title.

Ustinov is old and and he is not a very good fighter, and lord only knows what kind of shape he is in. And yet I find it interesting that even Fury's most faithful fans are already making excuses and seem to have some doubts about this fight.

Fury will win by DQ, Ustinov will be frustrated being too slow to land and his kickboxer instinct will take over and make him try to take Fury's head off with a head kick.
