If not Golovkin but some widely hated fighter (here) like Canelo or Mayweather would do this (first state that they fight agains anyone from the neighbour weightclasses and in their own) everyone would loses their minds and commet things like "fraud", "duck" or "coward". Double standards at their best.Comment

LOL, that's a huge change from 2 years ago. Happens with everyone who gets a solid following.
154 I get, Golovkin would be drained and showing up for a paycheck there. He's going to have to move up to 168 to find opponents soon enough.Comment

Dude needs to go to 168, nothing for him at 160, Froch and chavez, wouldn't even bother with ward dude cant sell for **** and would probably beat him anywayComment

... As about switching the tune: remember when Ward said that he's moving up to 175 (back in 2012, in winter)? Or that he will end up his career at the HW (last year)? Switching the tune isn't an exception in boxing.
And I don't remember what actual money offer Ward sent to Golovkin -- as compared with TR offer they sent for the Chavez Jr. fight.Comment

Golovkin is right, there's no reason to move up unless it's a big PPV fight. He needs to establish himself as the best MW. He needs Cotto
Only a legit hater who just wants him to lose would disagree
168 is inevitable. But not until he attempts to fight Cotto.Comment

I dont think its that, boxingscene gets paid to plaster IBO articles and adverts all over the place, rather shameful but it really has no effect as the IBO are nowhere near recognisable as a sanctioning bodyComment
