Maybe if Danny Garcia fought John Molina Jr. at 140 for a non-title fight then I would be able to accept that. Fighting Salka with his three KOs on his record is an embarrassment. There's only so much his dad can hype him up before he should either fight the best 140 lbers or just move to 147 where the big dogs reside.

Sure but either a rematch with Matthysse or a fight with Molina Jr. would have been much better than this fight. I don't care what his dad says, Danny probably has a hell of a tough struggle to make 140 lbs. He needs to either fight the best contenders at 140 or just move to 147. There's not much reason for him to stick around 140 if he doesn't want to fight anyone good at 140 anymore.

Not only is he defending Herrera Belts by way of Robbery out in puerto rico, but he is defending those belt at a catch weight of 142lb against an unranked 135lb'er who never fought at 140lb before and he is also known to walk around at 170lbs.

Why are these advantages are needed by the so called best unified champ at 140lb's.
