If cotto fights bradley instead of Rubio or canelo, the cottostans are going to get it from everyone on NSB

you dont say?? lol. Maravillas fight with Cintron was very competitive and he came away with a draw which easily coulda gone Sergios way. Let's not forget the boxing clinic the great Austin Trout put on Cotto and the bum that was put in front of him in Delvin Rodriguez and finally an injured Sergio Martinez. Rubio has no business being in there Cotto. The 3 fight coast streak is done. Put a GGG or Canelo in front of him and maybe we can crown him with legitimate wins.

Yes I already addressed that about the martinez cintron fight. Like I said, he did get robbed on the scorecards, but still, cintron is a bum (yes im PR) and maravilla couldnt beat him convincingly. When you learn that styles makes fights (stylistically cotto wasnt attacking the body and wasnt pressuring trout like he did with his uncle at 140, 147 lbs and now with roach). In a rematch, trout wouldnt last 6 rounds.

Lol, probably, and the Cottos fans will erupt after hearing that the fight is made cause it gives him a shot into beating mediocrity at its finest. Great case for being 100% back! Even a fight with Andrade is 10x better then Rubio. Beating a young talented fighter proves more then Rubio at this point. Then again Andrade might remind Cotto too much of Trout and decide he wants none of that.

if you consider cotto a MW champion then rubio is a legit MW challenger, let andrade fight for jmw titles, the guy needs to earn his shot adding more names to his resume, but def there is many MW fighters that deserve a MW title shot over andrade..
if cotto vacates then he should be able to fight whoever he wants at 154 or 160... even if he fights canelo next i hope is not for the MW title...

Styles make fights yes and on that night Trout imposed his style on Cotto and won fair and square. We're putting the blame on the trainer now? You could put the fault all you want on Pedro Diaz for his style, technique, approach blah blah blah. But its Cotto who was in there and didn't adjust and got outpinned. A boxer like Canelo also has a ****ty trainer IMHO but found a way to win against Lara, a much tougher fighter then Trout. Who knows who would win in a rematch between Cotto and Trout? But then again, who knows what would of happened if Sergio had healthy knees...
