That's simply movement without a purpose. Effective movement is being in range to land while neutralizing your opponents options. There's nothing special about being out of range to land your punches as much as you elitist boxing minds like to point it out that's ineffective movement.
But when Hopkins and Mayweather fight like that their geniuses and a master of their trade????

If Canelo fought like Lara and Lara fought like Canelo that night. We would never hear the end about how much of a smooth boxer Canelo is and how he made Lara look like a fool in the ring.

Boxing fans when their fighter wins a unearned victory and decision that's when they start contradicting and switch their view of how to score a fight. When Algieri beat Ruslan in another controversial decision everybody on hear was saying how Ruslan aggression didn't win him points from the judges but Canelo's aggression does win you points from the judges??? Algieri outboxed Ruslan and won but Lara does the same thing but it doesn't count.

    Boxing is so inconsistent

**** all this nonsense. I want a certain someone to come in here and tell me with a straight face that moving isnt a type of defense. I wanna see how he switches his tune.

you can move but there a line between moving and running. Most of the people that are fans of the amateur style say its the sweet science. Well that kind of sweet science doesnt fit in pro boxing. you have to be willing to engage or else its not a fight..

Where is this CaneloPower? I'm still waiting to see it.
He left it at the gym on the heavy bag and on the Chepo pads! That's the only thing he can unload like that, and of course....the walking punching bag Angulo who took each and everyone of those "power punches".

                His power is overrated.

They should've been focused on cutting off the ring so Lara can't "run" if Angulo and Molina can cut off the ring against Lara, Canelo has no excuse.

Canelo was following Lara and walking into left hands. Where was the defense from the Trout fight? I didn't see it. What did he learn from the Floyd fight? Nada.

making lara miss 72% whithout running while going forward the entire fight ill say thats a good defense...
