    Hopkins vs. Tarver Disscussion Thread...

This fight interests me alot. How big of upset would it be for Bernard Hopkins at 42 to defeat the light heavyweight champion? What would a win do for Bernard's legacy? It somthing Hagler and other great middleweights never did. Theres alot at stake in this fight...I can't wait.

Yes he can. If this fight was at 160 I would've favored Hopkins, but at 175 I don't know, the 15 extra pounds can hurt Hop in this fight.. I will still pick Hopkins by UD.

No he can't. Bernard wasn't even a particulary heavy-handed at middleweight and he's supposed to be able to hurt Tarver at 175??
        Get outta here talking that.

Not to mention that B-Hop was still coming in at like 157-158 for his prefight weigh-ins at Middleweight. So it wasn't like he was struggling to make weight.

He couldn't finish off Jermain when he was DEAD. He's not going to be able to finish off Antonio.

If Glen Johnson can hurt Tarver, then Hopkins can too. Hopkins power is very underrated, because of Larry Merchant. I'm outta here.

Go ahead and get outta here.
