Maidana just has zero respect for Mayweather and kept his cool in the ring, and applied effective pressure.
Generally speaking there are too many boxers caught up in all the "classical mess" of boxing. Too few of these guys know when to cut the cute crap and just jump on an opponent. If you're overmatched and are just going to get picked apart by a superior tactician literally the only chance some of these guys have is to turn it into a streetfight - as they say. This extends way beyond Mayweather.

But when it comes to Mayweather look how vulnerable he's been under pressure. Against Castillo. Against Hatton to some degree and of course against Maidana. The guys who have had a chance, all of them, who have had the opportunity to face Floyd Mayweather should be ashamed of their gameplans and the way they executed. They've made it way too easy for him.

Yeah guys don't let their hands go enough vs Floyd..

I was very disappointed in ghost, Ortiz, canelo because they hardly let their hands go..
Your simply not going to outbox Floyd, I don't care if your ward, Hopkins, rigo..
Floyd has the best boxing skills in all of boxing... Jmm is a p4p guy and Floyd whitewashed him because jmm tries to set traps, counters etc.. Floyd is too good for that stuff... To beat Floyd you gotta make him fight, gotta let your hands go a lot, and dare to be great

I just want their to be no excuses this time, the whole gloves issue was a mess in the first fight. May have been a ***** move on PBF's part but Chino is no saint letting himself get paid off.

With that being said, PBF knows what to expect now so I expect a clear win for him this time around.

Chino had his shot unless he fixes that cardio and can keep up the pressure thru out the fight he will fade come later rounds and PBF will win.

Canelo has poor footwork and can't cut off the ring.

Guerrero's legs were gone a fight prior to Floyd. Notice Guerrero is becoming a brawler now. Don't think that is what he wants to do.

The next day I watched again and had Maidana by a round.

Truly a fight that could have gone either way. Anyone who argues hard for one guy or the other is a fanboy.
That coment is so sexy, I want to fuck it!

Actually Ortiz had early success. He could have gotten up from that knockdown.

He only did good in the 4th when he was being aggressive but then the headbutt etc..
First 3 rds Ortiz just bounced ahead and ate Floyd's lead rights

They are just making it easier to sell the rematch for TBE.

I had Mayweather/Maidana and Canelo/Lara both 114-114 draws. I don't think any fighter made a clear-cut decisive decision to go their way and I'm a big fan of Mayweather the boxer.

Regardless of the condition or quality of their legs both guys spent far too much time in the center of the ring or squared up directly in front of Floyd repetitively trying to get their offense going. Any laymen understands how to rush somebody and throw haymakers. Guys like Canelo and Guerrero are so trained up as prizefighters they've lost their common sense. There's a time to fight out of a traditional costume and there is also a time to put on your ski mask and mug people. Great fighters have the ability to do both.
