This is the typical response of a low class citizen (ala a tramp).

Classless people still do good things. Floyd (in his words) is in america "feeding citizens everyday". But that doesnt mean he doesnt continually beat on the mother of his children whilst being stone-cold sober. But that's okay, because he does give them turkeys out on thanksgiving eh.

More like you and him are boys amongst men. Grown men dont say things like "i shag, ****, blind, **** when i want", around children. That's what i expect from 12 year old orphans from the council estates/ projects.

(In boxing terms) grown men conduct themselves like Ali, Wlad, Ward, Pacman, Canelo, Cotto - with class and respect.

Ali conducted himself with respect? Are you crazy? This is the hurt game, parents shouldn't be taking children to a press conference with two boxers like Chisora & Fury, what did people expect? That they'd be sitting down drinking a cup of tea & complimenting each other?

Ali talked more trash and insulted more people than any other fighter in the history of boxing. He called Joe Frazier an Uncle Tom and treated him with contempt. Plus, he was a member of The Nation of Islam for years. They were and are a racist group who believe that white people are devils who were created in a laboratory by a renegade black scientist. I'm white, btw.
As a kid during the 70's, I idolised Ali. He was the people's champion and I was one of the people. It hurt and confused me when I found out what the "Black ******s" believed in, and read about some of the things Ali said at their meetings.
I still love him to this day though. Shiat, nobody's perfect. And at least Fury isn't a racist.

I agree entirely. I guess I've forgiven Ali because he has completely changed his views and actions on this. The difference is that Fury still behaves the way he does today. He can make amends just like Ali did.

And it's no consolation that "at least Fury's not racist". I dont personally care for racism as much as i do about saying things like "i ****, blind, shag whatever the **** i want" around children who might grow up thinking that's cool.

He was at an event that is marketed (by his promotional outfit) to adults and children. It is designed to be suitable for children. What you DONT do in life is put inappropraite things on for children, but then advertise it as appropriate. That would be a chaotic country that makes it incredibly difficult for parents to figure out what is or isnt permissible for their children. Civilised countries like the UK function according to this.

If Fury just MUST swear, he must convince the networks and his promotional team to market his events as adult-oriented and not kid friendly.

Ali never swore once, during any of his rants. Which was quite an achievement.

Regardless of what one might think of Tyson Fury's comments or behavior outside the ring, it's easy to see why he's so...furious. It's yet to be seen whether Fury truly is capable of winning the world title but you can't blame the guy for trying. After repeated attempts at clinching a shot against Vlad whilst calling out and bashing his respective opponents, he has been seemingly duped by the BBBC and his opponents in the way of making him the mandatory challenger.
There is the possibility that both Haye and Chisora had legitimate injuries but even still, would this type of situation have been tolerated in pro boxing 30, 40 years ago?
It seems like nowadays more fighters claim injury or in some way force a cancelled fight than ever before, especially when there are world ranking/title implications involved.
Fighters certainly had less rights and less say in who they fought in the golden age of boxing. At the same time they were generally more durable and would make few excuses.
I'm willing to bet that a lot of boxing greats such as Joe Louis and Archie Moore fought with ailments and injuries of various kinds on numerous occasions throughout their length careers. If you're not willing to go through the ringer, physically and mentally, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of world championship, you may not be worthy of such a title in the first place.
