Yes, but that was seven years ago and a lucky one at that; As he has never been able to produce a similar KO before or since.

Hatton had no business at ww. He fought Collazo at 147, got spanked, got a gift and went running back down to jr ww. Beat up old shot JL Castillo, called out Floyd and Mayweather knocked him out.

Their fight bout was won by Mayweather with a twelve round majority decision.

Yes, I know what he's doing. He's hyping the fight. Actually, I really wish he could produce the knock out as it would be exciting for us boxing fans. However, in order for him to secure a KO, he would have to throw a lot more punches than he normally does because he is not a puncher but a safety first counter puncher with fragile hands.

This just confirms what I suspected. Floyd is ready to throw caution to the wind, sack up, plant his feet, and go to WAR!!!!! Prepare yourselves for a Castillo/Corralles, Gatti/Ward type of violence, Maidana and Mayweather will meet in the center of the ring and will only leave the center of the ring to walk to the corner, until one falls and gets up no more!!!! Prepare yourselves for a fight of the ages!!

Reality: Floyd and Hatton are roughly the same age and turned pro roughly the same time. Floyd at 130 and Hatton at 140. Their paths eventually cross in the welterweight division a decade or so later. Prefight, there were talks that it was the modern Sweet Pea-Chavez where the guy moving up may be naturally bigger and stronger.

Floyd hater logic: Floyd hit puberty when he was 30, was huge compared to Hatton, cherrypicked and KO'd a much smaller man.
