Why Doesn't David Haye Step In

Pretty sure he just returned from holiday.
Of course, there's no way that would ever happen and even suggesting it would, is rather ******ed.Comment

If Haye really was as confident as he was saying he was of beating Fury he'd gladly step into Chissy place as a replacement and make that easy 900grand and hell even accept the 100k bet with Fury..
boom there is 1million pounds earned for what Haye described as easy work

Has Fury called him out? No.
A guy who's been out of the ring for 2 years, just returning from a potentially career ending injury, should fight the #5 heavyweight in the world on a few days notice?
Come on.
I actually posted in this thread a few pages back.
Not sure why you are referring to me as "Davey's little fan boy" when you've only been on this site for a month or two? Or maybe you're an alt?
Either way, I'm certainly not as big a ****rider of Haye as you, weltz, cyclone, freedom, goat and the rest of you are of Klitschko's. I'm confident everyone on this site would agree.Comment

No 6'9" 260lb boxer with decent skills and speed like Fury is ever going to be "easy work" unless he is tagged flush with a cream shot.If Haye really was as confident as he was saying he was of beating Fury he'd gladly step into Chissy place as a replacement and make that easy 900grand and hell even accept the 100k bet with Fury..

Davey's credentials are capable of doing that job but because of his more limited range he will not find it easy to land Haye Makers on a guy like Fury, who would also rough him up due to his size.
More likely, Haye would be hanging out on the edge quite a lot.
I think he'd prepared to take a few more chances than he did against WK though.Comment

Haye says he doesn't have any ring rust in general, he only fights like once a year or so anyway. Shouldn't be a problem, knowing Haye regarded Fury as a bum and said he would make easy work of him. Plus if he wants to fight Vladimir again, this is the fight to grab.Comment

Vitali Klitschko and your other fan boy Muhammad Ali returned after 4 years and promptly fought at top level again. ****ting on that theory. Ring rust only really sets in if you haven't been sparring and training in absence. Obviously that's not the case with Haye. He can't use this excuse. Yeah his injury was serious but modern medicine has put worse back.Has Fury called him out? No.

Again, Vitali Klitschko, torn rotator cuff, another career threatening inury, BOOM, went on to become one of the most dominant HW champs the world has ever seen!
As for riding ****s.. I appraise fighters on their merits, if Klitschko's happen to be that good, I would call a spade a spade. I think pretty Davey boy has some skills too, but I wouldn't make excuses for him!
Clearly you have a vested interest in defending the guy else you wouldn't have protested!Comment
