Estrada: Mepranum, Melindo, Viloria, Gonzalez (Loss), Sanchez Jr. (Loss)

I give Canelo the edge in resume so far, but both him and Gallito are two of my favorites. They're both willing to take on anybody.

We should get fireworks in their next fights with Estrada vs. Segura and Canelo vs. Kirkland.
I see your point, oh then we can add Ardin Diale to Estrada. So i guess Estrada and Canelo can be seen in a similar manner in terms of accomplishments. Sure Floyd and Lara are amongst the best skilled boxers in the world but so are Viloria(at the time) and Roman Gonzalez. Trout and Melindo are similar wins except Trout was defending and Melindo was attempting to dethrone, and Angulo/Mepranum are both limited fighters who can pull off some upsets with their given assets. Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr is the Miguel Vasquez of Estrada's career, etc.. etc.. PFP I gauge Estrada over Canelo as an over all fighter but I retract my comments and stand corrected. God job on your post and valid points of argument.

ali, tyson, patterson, benitez, sal sanchez, hearns and floyd were more accomplished at 23 off the top of my head.

there are many more out there though. fighters turned pro much younger back in the day and accomplished a lot more early, part of the reason fighters have more longevity today.

but considering his era its rather impressive canelo has achieved so much so young since he is competing against guys older than him but still in their physical prime.

Mayweather would of lost once or twice by then and that is most definitely a fact.
Once again, you show you DKSAB.

Floyd had already fought and beat three of the top guys in his weight class when he was Canelo's age. And he didn't just beat them, he dominated all three of them.

Canelo barely beat Lara and Trout, and got schooled by Floyd.

Good point. Historically what he's done doesn't really stand out. But in this day in age where fighters are all about that 0, it's refreshing to see a "big name" young fighter willing to fight the best regardless of their popularity.

thats because he was fighting at 130lbs dumbass.

if you are talking about class alone you are plain wrong. floyds caliber of opponents holds up to canelos at that age. hernandez, corrales, manfredy.. and he won every round against all of them, dominated every round before stopping all three of them.

compare that to canelo getting a gift against lara and a whole lot of help against trout. i mean he won after 12, but if the judges hadnt screwed trout in the early rounds forcing him to change his style with the open scoring who knows.

the only one you got left is.. floyd.. p4p thats an interesting matchup. young flyd at 130 could punch and he was much more mobile and threw more punches. older floyd is more experienced and intelligent.. i would go with young floyd.
